Antonio J. “Tony” Brancazio, 81, of New Cumberland, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2008 at the Weirton Medical Center.
Antonio was born January 15, 1927 in Yorkville, OH the son of the late Pasquale and Angela DiLullo Brancazio. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Hillis Brancazio; his siser, Domenica Mozzone, and brothers, Joseph Brancazio and Dr. Dominic Brancazio, all of Weirton.
Antonio is survived by his partner, Virginia Prendes; brothers, John Brancazio of Paris, Cosmo Brancazio of Weirton; sisters, Mary Rollison and Mrs. Tony (Lena) Paolo of Weirton; two step sons, Randy and Robert Hillis of South Carolina and fifteen nieces and nephews.
He retired from Weirton Steel where he was a supervisor in the Sheet Mill. Antonio served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. An avid golfer, he enjoyed Thoroughbred horse racing.
Per Antonio’s request, there was no public viewing.
