LISBON – Margaret Louise Kesseg, 88, formerly of Salem, was pronounced dead on arrival at Salem Community Hospital at 4:49 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013.
Born March 12, 1925 in Forest Hills, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Benjamin P. and Louise M. Hershey Baker.
Before retiring she worked as an assembler operator at Sebring Container for 23 years.
She proudly served our country as a member of the WACS in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a member of the New Lisbon Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Kesseg was preceded in death by her husbands, Alfred “Jake” DeSellem and John O. Kesseg and a daughter, Peggy Lou Erbe.
Survivors include her son, Gary DeSellem of Leetonia; daughter, Sherri Brown of Lisbon; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
The service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Weber Funeral Home with Herman McHan officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Lisbon Cemetery. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
