LISBON – James F. May Sr., 85 of state Route 45, died at 5:16 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2001, at home following a lengthy illness.
He was born in East Palestine Sept. 23, 1915, a son of the late Ira and Lillian French May
He had been employed as a furnace operator at the former TRW in Minerva before retiring. He served with the U. S. army Air Force during WWII and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lisbon.
He is survived by his wife, Leona A. Kuester May; four sons, Ronald G. May of Lisbon, James F. May Jr. of Kensington, James H. May of Wenahitchka, Fla., and Rickie F. May of New Waterford; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Sandy) Bilsky of Hanoverton; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. David NIkkel of the Church will conduct services at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Weber Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral hoe from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Wednesday
