AGED LADY SUDDENLY DROPS DEAD
Apparently in good health, Mrs. Ralph Alcock, age 68, was suddenly attacked with heart failure yesterday morning (November 3, 1911) at the family home, Dresden avenue and Greasley street, dropping over dead an instant later.
Mrs. Alcock was seated in a chair at a table in the kitchen. Her body was discovered at noon by a son, William Alcock, returning for luncheon. Dr. W. F. Brindley was called and expressed the opinion that the unfortunate woman had been dead for over half an hour. Surviving Mrs. Alcock are her husband and six children, Edward, William, Arthur; Mrs. Alex Osborne and Mrs. Nellie Morehead and Harry, a son in Tunstan, England.
The funeral services will be held Monday afternoon. Complete arrangements will be made today.
