MRS. ELIZABETH ALEY quietly slep away at her home, 821 Bank street, shortly after midnight Sunday morning, following an extended illness. Mrs. Aley was in her 67th year and never fully recovered from an attack of the flu contracted last year. Her husband died just nine months ago yesterday from the same disease. Mrs. Aley has been bedfast for about eight weeks. She was an active member of the Ladies of the G.A.R. and of the First Church of Christ until last fall, and has a host of friends who will sincerely moun her loss. Seven children survive, Charles, Edward, William, Frank, Mrs. Carl Tategnhorst, Mrs. Grace Finch and Emma, all of East Liverpool.
Funeral services well be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. E. P. Wise of First Christian church of Akron, being the officiating minister. The remains can be viewed this evening. The Ladies of the G.A.R. will hold services at the home this evening, the members taking the 8 o’clock Grandview car.
