WESTERVILLE – Eric Scott Allison, 49 of Westerville, died Sunday, May 26, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born June 4, 1963, in East Liverpool, to Ellen (Broomhall) Allison Duke and the late Jerry Allison.
Eric was a 1981 graduate of Oak Glen High School (WV) and received his Associate Degree from Jefferson Technical College (OH). He was the Vice President of Research and Design for Dominion Homes and a member of St. Matthias Catholic Church.
He enjoyed being with family and friends, watching his kids play soccer and family vacations especially to the beach.
He is preceded in death by his stepfather Lou Duke.
Eric is survived by Mary (Manypenny) Allison, his loving wife of 29 years; children Shane (Maureen-fiance), Tylar and Haley Allison; siblings Beth (Greg) White, Meg (Mark) Hassett, Molly Reid and Andy (Erika) Allison; and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Matthias with interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
