Ross Allison’s Rites To Be At Salineville

Ross Allison, 1717 Nevada St., Wellsville, died Thursday night (December 29, 1955) at 8 at his home following a long illness. He was 80.

Mr. Allison was born in Salineville July 31, 1875, and moved to Wellsville about two years ago. He was employed as a carpenter for the John M. Hirst Coal Co. until his retirement seven years ago.

He was married to Eva Allison, who died in May 1944, and then married Marie Siebenthal in October 1946. He was a member of the Associated Bible Students of Pittsburgh.

Besides his widow, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Sylvia Hirst of Salineville, and Mrs. Ethel Van Horn of Leetonia; a step-son, William Seibenthal of Glenmoor; a brother, Frank Allison of Salineville; three sisters, Mrs. Mable Lange of Salineville, Mrs. Jessie Dilly of Boardman, and Mrs. Jennie Barcus of West Lafayette, and 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Sunday at 2 p. m. at the Faulkner Funeral Home at Salineville by Brother James Jordan of Pittsburgh.

Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday afternoon and evening.
