Obituary – Mrs. Rena Applegate

Mrs. Rena B. Applegate, aged 28, wife of Charles Applegate, of the Crook Furniture company, died at 4:30 yesterday morning (October 25, 1905) at her home in Calcutta road, opposite the Riverview cemetery. Death was due to inflammatory rheumatism after a few day’s illness. The funeral services will be held at 9 o’clock Saturday morning, the Rev. Dr. T. W. Lane, of the First M. E. church officiating. Interment will be made in Spring Hill cemetery, Wellsville. Friends who desire to view the remains can do so this evening between the hours of 7:30 and 9:30 p.m.
Mrs. Applegate had been married about 10 years and is survived by her husband and four children, Wilbur, Edwin, Leona and Lawrence, the latter being a babe of three-months. Two sisters and a brother also survive, Mrs. Will Lester, and Miss Ida Rosenbaum, of this city and Harley Rosenbaum, of Negley.
Mrs. Applegate had been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church for a number of years, and she was well known and very highly respected. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Rosenbaum, who reside near Negley
