Mrs. Emma Deems, wife of L. H. Deems, died Monday night (August 21, 1911) at her home on North Dawson street, at Uhrichsville, o. The death of Mrs. Deems followed and illness of more than a dears duration, she being a sufferer from enlargement of the spleen. Mrs. Deems was the mother of Frank and Ella Deems for several years with the Potters Co-Operative Co., of this city. Mrs. Deems was well and favorably known in the community, and her death was a sad bereavement to her family and friends. She had been almost a lifelong member of the Methodist Episcopal church, having untied with that denomination when a girl. She held steadfastly to the faith during the whole of her life and was recognized as a woman of true Christian character. Mrs. Deems was known by almost every child and adult in the Twin Cities, on account of her kind and loving disposition. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the residence.
