George DeLauder

George DeLauder, 79, of 2000 Clark Ave., Wellsville, died today at 12:02 a.m. in City Hospital following an extended illness.

Mr. DeLauder was born in Grafton, W. Va., Nov. 15, 1895, a son of William DeLauder and Ida Moore DeLauder. He last worked as a grinder at New Castle Refractories in Newell.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Barrett of Wellsville; four sons, Ersel DeLauder Kenneth DeLauder and Dorman DeLauder, all of Wellsville, and Reginal Dewaine DeLauder of East Rochester; six sisters, Miss Dorothy DeLauder, Mrs. Avis Phillips, Mrs. Lillian Zirkle, Miss Ruth DeLauder, Mrs. Ilean Kittle and Mrs. Flarine Pyles, all of Belington, W. Va., four brothers, Bertsel DeLauder, Lloyd DeLauder, Russell DeLauder and Otis DeLauder; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Monday noon from the Haugh – Roberts Funeral Home in Wellsville, with the Rev John Dryer of the Covenant United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery.
