Obituary – Wilmont Dennis

Wilmont M. Dennis, 84, of 14177 Main St. Deloit, Ohio, was dead on arrival Sunday (Mar. 27, 1977) at 9:35 p.m. at Alliance City Hospital following an illness of a year and a half.

He was born Oct. 3, 1892,in Highlandtown, and had resided in the Beloit area for 45 years.

Mr. Dennis was retired as a pipefitter for the American steel Foundry at Alliance. He was a member of the Sebring United Methodist Church and a trustee of the Untied Methodist Church at Highlandtown.

His wife, Irene A. Dennis, preceded him in death in October 1976.

Survivors include four sons, Harry Dennis of Cleveland, Walter Dick Dennis of Columbus, Charles Dennis of Hudson, Ohio, and Dan Dennis of Wellsville, Ohio; a stepson, Dean Close of Beloit, 26 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Vogt-Gedetz Funeral Home at Sebring. Burial will be in Highlandtown Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday night from 7 to 9.
