Mrs. Lydia A. DeVeny.

Mrs. Lydia A. DeVeny, aged 39 years, wife of John DeVeny, is dead at the family residence, No. 4020 Westminster street, Allegheny, form pneumonia. She visited Pittsburg that Wednesday, when she contracted the cold which resulted in her death. Mrs. DeVeny was the daughter of Martha J. and Capt. A. D. Miller. Her father died about two years ago. Mrs. DeVeny was married to John H. DeVeny in 1884 and removed ot Salineville, O., with her husband, where they lived until 1894, when they went to Nashville, Tenn., returning to Alleheny in 1897. She leaves her husband, a daughter, Stells M.; her mother, three brothers and five sisters. The brothers are R. B., A. D. and J. B. Miller: the sisters are Mrs. A. L. Scott, of West Economy; Mrs. L. A. Johnson, of Bellevue, and the Misses Fannie, Ella W., and Martha J. Miller of Allegheny.
