MIDLAND – Mary Ann M. Zuppe D’Itri, of Midland, “Babe” to her family and lifetime friends, left this world in the grace of God and surrounded by her family on Friday, May 17, 2013, before the break of dawn.

Born on Sept. 23, 1931, to Domenic and Mary Solari Zuppe, she was the wife of Joseph A. D’Itri Sr., whom she married on Oct. 23, 1954.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by all of her siblings: Samuel, John, and Dominic “Mickey” Zuppe, and Rosemary Zuppe Flara; and her infant son, Patrick.

She is survived by her children, Joanne (Frank Fantone), Anthony (Tammy Grim), Dominic (Ruth Postich), Mary Catherine (Patton), Joseph A. Jr. (Ranee Dishler), Salvador (Natalie Thompson), and Virginia (Alan Lopata); grandchildren, Laura Fantone Baca (Bryan), Mary Fantone Dickey (John Paul), and Michael Fantone (Angela Galik), Caitlin and Brianna D’Itri, Emily, Aaron, and Alexander D’Itri, MaryAnn Patton, Megan, Morgan, and Joseph G. D’Itri, Katrine, Gabriel, and Anna D’Itri; great-grandchildren, Spencer and Isabel Dickey; six nephews and nieces; two sisters-in-law; many dear cousins, and friends whom she loved as family.

Calling hours at the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland, will be this evening from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated by her pastor, Fr. Michael Yaksick, on Friday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Blaise Community Parish Catholic Church, Midland.
