East Liverpool Tribune

Jessie Dixon, the 15-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Dixon of Negley, Ohio, died Wednesday, March 6 (1912).

One year ago she passed the Patterson examination and had her plans carefully laid for the future.

The funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon a the church, the Rev. Weyrich of Rogers and the Rev. Hutchinson officiating.

The many floral pieces proved her many friends. They were carried by the eight remaining girls of her Sunday school class.

The remains were laid to rest in Mt. Carmel cemetery. The pallbearers were Cleaver Young, Wilbur Gabele, Walter Bricker, Ralph Britain, Myrl Clark and Benjamin Williams, six of her school friends. She leaves besides her father and mother and relatives, a host of friends to mourn her departure. Yet their loss was her gain, for she found time in her young busy life to serve her Master and was snatched from the world to grace the Garden of God.
