RETIRED WARE WORKER DIES
Ira G. Fair, 633 Broadway, a retired potter died this morning at 12:45 at City Hospital following an illness of three years. He was 81.
A native of Warren, Pa., he was born January 6, 1883, to Joseph M. Fair and Sarah Jane Parker Fair, and resided here for 60 years. He was a decorator at the Hall China Company until retiring 10 years ago.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Iva Cornell Fair at home; three sons, Jack L. Fair of East Liverpool, James V. Fair of Fontana, Calif., and Joseph W. Fair of Guilford Lake; a sister, Mrs. Mae Beck of Lakewood; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home by the Rev. Charles Little, pastor of the First Free Methodist Church. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
