Obituary – William Fiber

William Fiber died at 2:30 o’clock yesterday afternoon (September 19, 1911) at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Fiber, corner of Henry and Arthur avenues, from asthma and heart trouble, aged 23 years.
The deceased was born in New Cumberland, W. Va., but grew to manhood in Wellsville. He was employed for a number of years in the C. & P. engine house, Wellsville. Several months ago he secured employment at Youngstown, and removed his family to that city. Last Wednesday he was taken ill and his condition becoming critical he was brought to the home of his parents.
Mr. Fiber was held in high esteem by a large circle of friends. He was a member of the First M. E. church of Wellsville. His wife and one child, George Palmer Fiber, survive. Besides his parents he is also survived by four brothers, and two sisters: Frank, Ray, Guy, Roy, Daisey and Oca, all at home. The funeral arrangements have not been completed.

The Fiber Funeral
Funeral services over the remains of the late William Fiber will be held at 7:30 o’clock this evening from the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Fiber, Arthur avenue, Rev. Mr. Maler, pastor of the M. P. church, officiating. The remains will be taken to New Cumberland, W. Va., Friday morning for interment. (September 19, 1911)
