Obituary – Thomas Fowler
East Liverpool Tribune
Thomas Fowler, aged 58 years, died at his home at 306 Sixth street, at 5:30 o’clock last evening, after a long illness. For several weeks he had been in a critical condition and for several days those at his bedside had entertained no hopes of his recovery. His death resulted from inflammation of the bowels. He is survived by three children and a number of other close relatives.
Mr. Fowler was a plasterer by trade, but has not been able to devote much time to that work lately. He responded to his country’s call for men during the trying days of the War of the Rebellion and served his country faithfully and well. Hi death will be deeply deplored by a wide circle of acquaintances.
No arrangements for the funeral services had been decided on last evening.
