FRAMPTON, Roberta E., 96, of Carrollton, formerly of Hammondsville, died Monday evening, Oct. 8, 2012, in the Carroll Healthcare Center following a brief illness.
Born Aug. 2, 1916, in Hammondsville, a daughter of the late Fred and Caroline Griffith Elliott.
She was a retired librarian for the Richmond Elementary School.
Roberta is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Carrollton and the Carroll Chapter of Eastern Star 315.
She is survived by a son, Douglas (Kathleen) Frampton of Carrollton; daughter, Pamela (Robert) Dye of Carrollton; three grandchildren, Kassie Keener of Applecreek, OH, Jason Frampton of Tallmadge, OH, and Carrie Tuesday of Tallmadge, OH; and two great grandchildren, Kate and Dan Keener.
Roberta was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Frampton, in 1990; three sisters and a brother.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at 11 a.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton with Rev. Dan Loomis officiating. Burial will follow in the Hammondsville Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday evening 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial donations in Roberta’s name may be made to the Akron Children’s Hospital, 1 Perkins Square, Akron, OH.
