GARBADE, Phillip Michael, age 54, of Toronto, passed away suddenly at his home Tuesday, May 21, 2013.
He was born Sept. 29, 1958, in Florence, South Carolina the son of the late Arnold and Emily Perry Garbade.
Phillip was a member of the Crossroads Christian Church of Wintersville, OH; was a member of the Water Environment Federation; a graduate of the Camden Military Academy of Camden, S.C. and was employed as the plant operator for the Steubenville, OH Wastewater Department.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Peckens Garbade, of the family home, whom he married June 4, 2001; daughter, Brittany Garbade of Toronto, OH; son, Connor Victor Garbade of the family home; brothers, Jennings (Betsy) Garbade of Douglasville, GA; Arnold (Claire) Garbade of Gathersburg, MD; David (Caroline) Garbade of Ridgeland, S.C. and Edward (Jan) Garbade of Folly Beach, S.C.
Visitation for Phillip will be 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday, May 23rd at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main Street, Toronto.
A celebration service of Phillip’s life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 24th at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Hanze officiating.
Burial will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery.
