Carmen Giannini

STRUTHERS – Carmen N. Giannini, 82, of Struthers, passed away Wednesday evening at Hospice of the Valley, Hospice House with his family at his side.

Carmen was born Christmas Day, 1929 in Youngstown, a son of Angelo and Pasqualina Carbone Giannini.

He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Youngstown.

Besides his wife Marie, he is survived by three step-sons, John Speziale of Calcutta, Frank Speziale of Struthers and Carmen Speziale of Mineral Ridge; five grandsons, one granddaughter, and six great-grandchildren.

Besides his father and mother, he was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers, one grandson and one great-grandson.

A Prayer Service will be held at 9:15 a.m. Monday at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers, and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. at St Anthony of Padua Church with Msgr. Michael Cariglia officiating. Interment will follow at the St. John Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Lowellville.

Friends will be received Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
