Obituary – Mrs. Jean Goodballet

EAST LIVERPOOL – Mrs. Jean Goodballet, 80, of County Airport Road, Wellsville, died at 4:20 p.m. Thursday, July 4, 2002, at East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born Feb. 16, 1922, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Stanley and Gladys Lisk Talbott. A lifetime resident of East Liverpool, she was a homemaker.
Her husband, H. Keith Goodballet Sr., who passed away on Sept. 10, 1979, precedes Mrs. Goodballet in death. They were married Feb. 16, 1939. Survivors include four sons, H. Keith Goodballet Jr. and his wife, Peggy, of Wellsville; David A. Goodballet and his wife, Martha, of Portsmouth, Ohio; John C. Goodballet and his wife, Nancy, of Duluth, Ga.; and Mike Goodballet and his wife, Sue, of East Liverpool. There are 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition, Mrs. Goodballet is survived by one sister, Mrs. James (Mercedes Hancock of Niles, Ohio; and two brothers, John Tablott and his wife, Dorothy, of Rockwell City, Iowa, and Jack Talbott and his wife, Barbara, of East Liverpool. A brother, Stanley Talbott, preceded Mrs. Goodballet in death.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 8, at the Dawson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Parry of East Liverpool City Hospital officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon and evening, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
