George Javens died at his home, Crow’s Run, Monday (September 11, 1899) at 2 o’clock, a.m., of dropsy, after a lingering illness, aged 74. He is survived by several grown children, his wife having died about two years ago. Funeral services at the U.B. Church, New Sewickley Township, Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment in church burial ground.
