HASTINGS, FLA. – Thomas L. “Tom” Jackson Sr., 73, of Kirchherr Avenue, formerly of Lisbon, died Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at the Mountrie Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness.
Arrangements are pending at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.

THOMAS l. “TOM” JACKSON, SR., 73 of Hastings, Fla., formerly of Lisbon, died at 5:31 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at the Moultrie Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Lisbon, Sept. 1, 1932, a son of the late Vernon and Florence Winters Jackson.
He was employed by Herron Transport in Salem as a truck driver and was a former member of the Church Hill Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Beth “Babe” Cooper Jackson; three daugthers, Susan Lewis of Inwood, W.Va., Kathy Sorrell of East Palestine, and Kelly Bechdel of Inwood; two sons, Thomas Jackson Jr., of Inwood, and Sam Jackson of Lisbon; a step-son, Chris Cooper of Columbus; and 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Jan Winnale of the Columbiana Church of the Nazarene will conduct the services at 11 a.m. Monday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home. Burial in Church Hill Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
