LILLIAN KEEFER, 77, of Hookstown, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1998, in Bradenton, Florida, following an apparent heart attack.
She was born June 20, 1929, in Natrona Heights, a daughter of the late Edward and Helen Skripus.
She was a member of the Hebron Presbyterian Church in Clinton. She was a former teacher with the South Side Area School District, and also taught in many of the one room schools in the ara. She was a graduate of Slippery Rock University and earned her master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Keefer, who die July 29, 1997.
She is survived by a daughter, Joann Nussbaumer of Est Chester, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
Services were conducted Friday at the Clinton church with the Rev. Patricia L. Deeter officiating.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be sent to the Hebron Presbyterian Church.
The Welch Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
