Ellen F. Kell, 87, formerly of Chester died on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Pasco Memorial Hospital in Dade City, Fla.
She moved to Florida in 1982 with her husband, the late Elmer Kell who died in 1995.
She was born in Pittsburgh on Nov. 28, 1923.
Ellen graduated from high school in East Liverpool where she was raised by her parents, the late Richard and Harriet Manor.
She retired from the Smith & Phillips Furniture in East Liverpool where she sold musical instruments and gave music lessons.
Ellen is best remembered for playing the organ at various churches throughout the Ohio Valley.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ellen was preceded in death by her birth mother, Helene Stibich Boyer and one brother, Robert Boyer.
Ellen is survived by three sons, Frank (Susan) Kell of Dade City, Jim (Janis) Kell and Bill (Brenda) Kell of Chester; one brother, Harry (Lorraine) Boyer of Show Low, AZ; one sister, Betty (Bill) McIntyre, and one sister-in-law, Dora Boyer both of Phoenix. Seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren survive as well.
Rev. Matthew Camlin of Chester First United Presbyterian Church will conduct a memorial service on Friday, November 225, in the Chapel at the Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester.
The Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester is assisting with local arraignments.
