Edward B. Kirk, 82, died peacefully with his loving wife Sharon at his side, Saturday, October 8, 2011.
He was born October 18, 1928 in Pine Grove, WV to the late Bismark and Mary (Fankhouser) Kirk.
He served in the US Army and was retired form National Steel in Weirton where he worked as an electrician in the diesel shop for 32 years.
He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians #28366m, Mystic Magicians of Beaver Valley, Masonic Lodge #22 of New Cumberland and the World Clown Association.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wire, Emma Zane (Willey) Kirk, and two infant brothers.
Surviving are his wife, Shron (Willey) Kirk of 38 years, sister-in-lawBarbara (Gerald) Lyautey of Amarillo, Texas, Beth Ann (Ronald) Bentley of Plain City, Ohio, and Karen (Dave) Dulaney of Colliers, brother -in-law Ervin (Chloe) Willey of Burton, “WV and Joe (Brenda) Willey of Hastings, WV. Also surviving are many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and many friends.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at 1 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Thursday, October 13, 2011. Burial will be at K of C Cemetery in Hastings at a later date.
