PETER KNEPPER, BLACKSMITH, DIES SUDDENLY
Illness of Few Days Ago Proves Fatal to Well Known Resident

Peter Knepper, aged 61, died Wednesday evening (November 29, 1911) at his home on Broadway after a brief illness from hemorrahages of the stomach. He was born in this city and had resided here his entire life. He was engaged in the blacksmithing business for about 47 years and conducted a shop at Maple alley between Third and Fourth street.

He had been in ill health for several months but his condition was not considered serious. While at work last Monday, he became suddenly ill and was seized with hemorrahages.

He is survived by his wife and two children, William of this city and Mrs. Harry Flock of Lorraine. Also the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Nan Engle of Pittsburgh; Misses Kate and Rebecca Knepper of Steubenville; Miss Maggie of Battle Creek, Mich.; Mrs. Sadie Townsend of Indianapolis and A. L. Knepper of Calcutta.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
