Grocer Dies On Way To Hospital
The funeral service for Walter H. Lange, 71, Salineville grocer who died at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday (9 Nov 1955) of a heart attack, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Kerr Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
Mr. Lange died enroute to East Liverpool City Hospital. A native of Salineville, he was born Aug. 15, 1884, a son of Alban and Tekla Lange, and was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
He leaves his wife, Linnie, in the home; five sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hutson of Columbiana, Mrs. Mayme Kerr of Hornell, N. Y., Mrs. Ella Newton of Interlaken, N. Y., Mrs. Edna Devine of Miami Beach, Fla., and Miss Mabel Lange of Salineville, a deputy clerk in the probate court office; and a brother Arthur Lange of Salineville.
The Rev. William Catlin of the United Presbyterian Church will officiate at the funeral. Friends may call Friday evening at the funeral home.
