AGED GEORGETOWN WOMAN IS DEAD
Mrs. Margaret Laughlin, aged 84, died at 9 o’clock Saturday evening (June 15, 1912) at her home in Georgetown, Pa., of the infirmities of old age after an illness that has extended over the past winter.
She was one of the oldest residents of the city having lived there all her life. Her husband had preceded her in death a number of years ago.
She was an honest, home loving woman, loved by her companions and friends and was always a foremost worker in the church she having been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of that city.
Surviving her are the following children: James, of Hookstown; William and Alvin of East Liverpool; Benjamin of Chester; Hugh at home; Mrs. J. L. Allison of Hookstown and Mrs. Farmer of East Liverpool. Thirty two grandchildren also survive.
The funeral services will be held this afternoon at the Methodist Episcopal Church of Georgetown at 2 o’clock, the Rev. Hamilton officiating. Interment will be made in the Georgetown cemetery.
