TRAFFIC INJURY FATAL TO WELLSVILLE MAN
Robert C. Lee, Hit By Bus on Aug. E, is 13th Death
Robert C. Lee, 60, of 1822 Buckeye ave., Wellsville, died Tuesday night at his home form injuries received Aug. E when struck by a Wellsville-bound Main line bus of the Valley Motor Transit Co. at Lisbon and West Eighth sts.
This is the 13th Columbiana county traffic fatality this year.
Mr. Lee was admitted to the emergency room of City hospital 45 minutes after the accident and was released Sunday when he returned to his home.
Utility spokesmen said that Mr. Lee Ran across the street in back of an automobile directly in front of the bus, driven by Frank Karns.
Mr. Lee was born in Washington county, O., and resided in this vicinity for 80 years. During that time he was employed as a kilndrawer at the Homer Laughlin China Co. He was a member of the National Brotherhood of Operative Potters.
His survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bertha Milhoan Lee, two sons, Harry R. Lee and Benjamin Lee of East Liverpool; three brothers, Edward Lee, and William Lee of East Liverpool and Harve Lee of Marietta; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Mays of Canton and Mrs. Anna Matthews of Sardis, O., and five grandchildren.
The body will be removed to the MacLean funeral home Friday where services will be held at 2 p.m. by Rev. W. J. Hocker, pastor of the Boyce Methodist church. Interment will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
