Peter Leishman

Peter A Leishman of West End, Salineville, a retired coal miner, died Sunday (28 Aug 1960) at 9 a.m. at his home after a brief illness. He was 77.

He was born Feb. 23, 1883 in Salineville, a son of the late William Leishman and Janet Leishman.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Anne Wagler and Mrs. Orvetta Ferguson, both at home; two sons, Harold Leishman of East Liverpool and Virgil Leishman of Canton; a sister, Mrs. Anna Yohst of Salineville; four brothers, William Leishman, Clarence Leishman, Roy Leishman, and George Leishman, all of Salineville; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 at the Kerr Funeral Home at Salineville by Gerald Finnie, minister of the Salineville Church of Christ. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery at Salineville.

Friends may call at the funeral home tonight, Tuesday afternoon after 3 and Tuesday night.
