Charles Leith, born and reared in Wellsville, was killed Thursday (April 6, 1911) in the Pennsylvania railway yards at Glenwood, Pa. He was employed as yard master and was run down by a cut of cars. The deceased was 30 years of age. He is survived by his wife and 9-year-old daughter. His father, Thomas Leith, of Cleveland; mother, residing in Chicago, two sisters and one brother also survive. The sisters are Mrs. Lee Phillips of Weirton, W.Va., and Mrs. Maud Hipsley of near Wellsville. The brother, Harry Leith, resides in Pittsburg.
