Obituary – Mrs. Lina E. Littleton
East Liverpool Tribune

The serious illness of Mrs. Lina E. Littleton in Columbus resulted in her death last Friday evening (November 13, 1903) at 8 o’clock. Her health failed early in the summer, but she was not believed to be in a precarious condition until the disease was found to be a complicated stomach trouble, and recovery impossible. She bore her suffering with patience and was ready when the summons came. Mrs. Littleton was a native of Allegheny county, Pa., and with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Hastings moved to Middleton, this county in 1864, a week before her brother was killed in battle in Virginia. She was possessed of a kind and loving disposition and all who knew her were her friends. She was a brave and loyal woman, and her bereaved husband and family together with her many friends are broken with sorrow in the loss they have sustained.

The body was interred in Green Lawn Cemetery at Columbus.
