Gertrude M. Lucy, 65
SALEM – Services will be held Friday for Gertrude M. Lucy, 65, who died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Wheeling June 8, 1933, the daughter of the late William P. and Bessie Elizabeth West Barton.
She lived in Washington, Pa., most of her life and was a homemaker. She also enjoyed playing bingo.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence William Rodgers, and her second husband Edward Lucy; two brothers, Frank Barton and James Barton; and two sisters, Jenette Brown and Joyce Barton.
She is survived by a daughter, Zelma M. Call of east Liverpool; a brother, Thomas P. Barton of Washington, Pa.; a sister, Mary Lou Tennant of Washington; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Paul Sturm of Rainbow Ministries will conduct the services at 1:30 p.m. at Martin-Altmeyer Funeral Home.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the service.
