EAST LIVERPOOL – Cynthia M. “Cindi” Ludwig, 56, of Kelly Avenue in East Liverpool, passed away on Saturday evening, May 25, 2013.

She was born in East Liverpool on March 19, 1957, a daughter of Marjorie D. “Marge” Revelant Ludwig and the late Robert L. Ludwig, who passed away in 1998.

A 1975 graduate of East Liverpool High School, Cindi worked for ten years as a Materials Technician at Beaver Medical Center before becoming a licensed realtor. She sold real estate locally until recent years, but spent much of her time caring for others. Her giving personality was endearing to all who knew her, and she would give a friend a shirt off her back or cook up a great meal to anyone in need.

Cindi was so proud of her family, including her son, Donald James “Jim” Crumbley and his companion Wendy Ludington, of East Liverpool, and her daughter, Samantha D. Hilditch, also of East Liverpool.

Also surviving is her sister and best friend, Saundra Howard and her husband, Perry, of East Liverpool, and a brother, Robert “Bobby” Ludwig, and his wife, Lori, also of East Liverpool, as well as her nieces, Erica Baker and Allana Baker, and nephews, Devon Ludwig and Nathan Howard.

A friend to all, Cindi remained close with Donald J. Crumbley, Sr., and his son, Aaron Smith, of East Liverpool.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Wednesday, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Services will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning, with Father Peter Haladej of Holy Trinity Parish at St. Aloysius Church as the celebrant.

Cindi will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery, after which time family and friends will gather for a continued time of fellowship at the Dawson Family Center.
