EAST LIVERPOOL – Wilma L. Newlen, 90, of Jackson Street, East Liverpool, passed away 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013, at her residence, following a lengthy illness.
Born Sept. 18, 1922, at East Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Pearl I. Call Wilson.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Autis Adkins, and by her husband, Clarence S. Newlen.
Survivors include four daughters, Barbara White of Clearwater, Fla., Carolyn Darr of Atlantic, Pa., Donna Campbell of Steubenville, and Beverly Johnson of East Liverpool; one son, Autis Eugene Adkins of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-children.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Dawson Funeral Home. Bishop Randy Ogden of the church will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens in Newell.
