East Liverpool – Services were held Saturday for E. Elizabeth “Liz” Oliver, 75, of Oak Street, who died at 7:15 a.m. Thursday, June 9, 1994, at home following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Youngstown May 26, 1919, a daughter of the late William and Rosalyn Massey Park.

She lived most of her life in East Liverpool and served two terms as city auditor before retiring. Earlier, she was an auditor clerk. She graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1937. She was a member of the St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, its Guild and Episcopal Church Women.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond L. Oliver, whom she married March 1, 1945, a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Susan) Harvey of East Liverpool; a son, William R. Oliver, of East Liverpool and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, George Willshaw.

The Rev. George P. Donehoo II will conduct the services at 1:30 p.m. at the church, Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dawson Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.

The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Stained Glass Window Fund at the Church.
