William P. Ormes, aged 46, died at 6 o’clock last evening at his home on West Third street, following a two weeks’ illness of Bright’s disease.
The deceased has been a resident of this city for the past 18 years. He was a member of the First Baptist church and was affiliated with the musician’s and barbers’ locals. He was a cornetist with the Ceramic City
band.
Besides his widow, Mrs. Ella Ormes, deceased is survived by three children, Phyllis, aged 14; William, 12, and Ella Marie, 4. His mother, Mrs. Nancy Ormes of this city and one brother, George Ormes of Dayton, also survives.
Funeral services will be conducted from the late home Sunday afternoon. Interment will be made in the Fairview cemetery.
