John Owens

John (Jack) Owens, 47, potter, died Saturday at 3 p. m. in Rocky Glen sanatorium at McConnelsville, O., where he had been a patient for four weeks.

Mr. Owens was born in East Liverpool, a son of the late John and Ellen T. Owens. He was a member of the National Brotherhood of Operative Potters.

He leaves his widow, Mrs. Lucy Owens; two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Hanlon of East Liverpool and Mrs. Mabel Dixon of canton; two sisters, Miss Tillie Owens and Mrs. Mabel Allison of East Liverpool; his stepfather, John Thomas of East Liverpool.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m., in the home, 106 Ravine street, in charge of Rev. Henry Camp, pastor of the Anderson Methodist Episcopal church. Burial will be made in Spring Grove cemetery.

Friends are asked to call at the home Monday and Tuesday nights.
