Gladys Oyster
Chester – Gladys M. Oyster, 81, of Locust Hill Road, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2005, at East Liverpool City Hospital. She was born June 21, 1923, in Pughtown, W. Va., a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Blaskey Gracie. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Chester. She is survived by her husband, Jesse Oyster at home; a son, Jeff Oyster of Chester; a daughter, Karen Oyster of New Cumberland; a brother, Jack Gracie of North Carolina; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and one great – grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son. The Rev. Bill Brown will conduct services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Arner Funeral Chapel. Burial in Union Cemetery in New Manchester. Visitation from noon to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. today.
