Obituary – Mrs. F. T. Peters

Mrs. F. T. Peters aged 68 years, died at 3:15 o’clock Saturday afternoon (January 30, 1904) at the home of her daughter Mrs. C. L. Gray, No. 288 Bradshaw avenue. She was taken ill with pneumonia last Tuesday and in spite of the best medical skill and careful nursing her system failed to respond to the medicine and her relatives were summoned to her bedside where she died at the hour above noted.
Mrs. Peters was a former resident of Willoughby, Ohio, and came to this city 10 years ago with Mr. and Mrs. Gray, with whom she had made her home for a number of years. She was the wife of a veteran of the Civil War and had a large number of friends in Willoughby.
The funeral service will be held at 4 o’clock this afternoon at the home of Mr. C. L. Gray, Bradshaw avenue, Rev. M. B. Pratt, of the First M. E. church officiating. The body will be taken to Willoughby Tuesday morning where the interment will be made in the family burial ground.
