ESTEEMED WOMAN DIES OF INJURIES
As a result of injuries sustained recently in a fall at her home in Main street, MRS. HARRIET PIERCE, aged 74, died at 10 o’clock Saturday morning in the East Liverpool hospital.
Overcome with a fainting spell after arising from her chair in the home of her sister, Miss Mary Cope, Mrs. Pierce fell to the floor, fracturing her right hip. She was removed to the hospital, where her advanced age made recovery impossible.
The body was removed to the MacLean morgue here and prepared for burial. It was conveyed
Saturday evening to the Cope residence where funeral services are to be conducted at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon. Interment will be made in Spring Hill cemetery.
The deceases was one of the best known residents of Wellsville, having resided here for many years. her husband preceded her in death a number of years ago. she is survived by but one near relative, her sister, Miss Mary Cope.
