Mrs. Plankinton Is Dead Here
Wife of James G. Plankington Succumbs; Funeral Services in Home Tuesday Afternoon.
Mrs. Nora Allison Plankinton, 63, wife of James G. Plankinton, died Sunday in her home, 1052 St. Clair avenue. Mrs. Plankinton was a lifelong resident of East Liverpool. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church and the Ladies of the G.A.R. Besides her husband, she leaves one daughter, Mrs. John Paul of East Liverpool; two brothers, Harry and W. O. Allison, and a sister, Miss Aurella Allison of East Liverpool. Funeral services will be held in the home Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in charge of Rev. J. H. Lawther, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. Burial will be made in Riverview cemetery.
Plankinton is the correct spelling. The obit makes the error of adding a ‘g’.
