Beulah Pletcher

CHESTER-On April 13, 2015, with her children at her side, Beulah Pletcher quietly ascended to heaven to the arms of our Lord and her loving family.

She was born in Cameron, W.Va., on Sept. 4, 1936. She met and married Charles “Bob” Pletcher. They had six children, Janet (Michael) Stuttler, Mel Pletcher, Doug (Chris) Pletcher, Sheryl (Buddy) Cranford, Jesse Pletcher, and a little boy, Baby Pletcher, who died at birth.

She was also preceded in death by her parents Harold and Mable Blake; her sister, Geraldine and her brother, Charles.

She is survived by eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Myrtle, Ellen and Violet; two brothers, Paul and Bobby; along with many nieces and nephews and their children.

She retired from the Moose Lodge in East Liverpool, Ohio. Her zest for life made this the perfect job for her and she thoroughly enjoyed being with people and making new friends. Those who met her couldn’t help but love her due to her quick wit and wonderful smile.

The family would like to extend much appreciation to Mother’s Karing Touch, E.L.C.H., WMC, Dr. Kubicki and most of all to the Fox Family, and the loving caring and attentive staff of The Stone Pear Pavilion, who offered and provided great care and concern for our Mother as well as her family. We also extend much appreciation to the loving and caring staff of Valley Hospice.

She will sadly be missed by her family and many friends.

Visitation will be held at the Nixon Funeral Home in Newell, W.Va., today, Thursday, April 16, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held privately.
