Obituary – E. L. Provo

E. L. Provo, aged 26 years and a painter by trade, died at the Taylor hospital at 8:50 last evening (December 27, 1905) of tuberculosis. He had been ill since June. The deceased came here from Huntington, W. Va., seven years ago, and was employed last by Edward Purton. The funeral arrangements will be announced later. The body is at Miller’s undertaking parlors. Mr. Provo was a member of local No. 165, Painters and Decorators Union. His father who lived in Center alley and who had taken the remains of his wife who died a week ago, to Huntington for burial, returned in time to be with his son when he died.
