Donald Raffa
North Jackson – Donald L. Raffa, 76, passed away Friday, at his home. Born April 16, 1934, in Newell, he was the son of the late John and Ella (Allison) Raffa. He was a graduate of Wellsville High School and a veteran in the U. S. Army. He worked for Warren Consolidated Industries as a motor inspector for 37 1/2 years. Survivors include his wife, the former Esther Woodrow; a daughter, Renee Raffa of Austintown; a son, Steve Raffa of North Jackson; a sister, Shelva Wilson of Calcutta; a brother, Bob Raffa of Wellsville; and three grandchildren. Arrangements were handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, North Jackson Chapel.

North Jackson – Private funeral services were held for Donald L. Raffa, 76, who passed away Friday, at his home, with his family by his side. Donald was born April 16, 1934, in Newell, W.Va., the son of the late John and Ella (Allison) Raffa. Donald was a graduate of Wellsville High School. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army. He worked for Republic in Warren, LTV and Warren Consolidated Industries as a motor inspector for 37 1/2 years. Donald was a member of the Moose, Elks and Eagles No. 3298.He enjoyed bowling, fishing and vacationing. Donald leaves his wife, the former Esther Woodrow, whom he married April 20, 1958; a daughter, Renee Raffa of Austintown; a son, Steve (Barb) Raffa of North Jackson; a sister, Shelva (Tom) Wilson of Calcutta; a brother, Bob (Sonnie) Raffa of Wellsville; three grandchildren, Michael Raffa, Ashley Edwards and Megan Edwards; an aunt, Anna Hager of Lavonia, N.Y.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Material contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Donald’s memory. Arrangements were handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, North Jackson Chapel.
