Following a lingering illness of complications, William Jasper Ramsey, 70 years old, died Sunday morning at 5 o’clock at his home, 915 Wood Street. A coremaker by trade, he had been employed at the Stevenson Foundry company for a number of years. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. In addition to his widow, he leaves three sisters: Mrs. Dora Wilson, Mrs. Harry Kern, and Mrs. C.D. Todd, all of Wellsville; a brother, John, in California. Private services will be held tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. O.D. Todd, 423 Broadway, in charge of the Rev. A.A. Reavley, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church. Burial will be in Spring Hill cemetery.

Note: He was married to 1. Anna Dixon and 2. Mary Elizabeth Walton. His parents were Benjamin Franklin and Dorcas (Hunter ) Ramsey.
