Jesse Reynolds, 75, Retired Steelworker

Services are planned Tuesday for Jesse R Reynolds, 75, of 2030 Michigan Ave., East Liverpool, who died at 1:04 p. m. Saturday, June 24, 1989, at City Hospital where he was admitted earlier in the day after suffering an apparent heart attack at home.

He was born here April 6, 1914, a son of the late Lee Reynolds and Daisy Campbell Reynolds.

Mr. Reynolds was employed in the maintenance department of the open hearth and TOC departments at the former Crucible Steel Co., before retiring in 1976. He was a member of United Steelworkers of America local 1212.

His first wife, Mary Reed Reynolds, died Dec 27 1978.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Adams Reynolds, whom he married in June 1979; four sons, Robert E. Reynolds of Arlington, VA, and Richard J. “Bub” Reynolds, Gerald L Reynolds and kenneth W Reynolds of East liverpool; a brother, Virgil L Reynolds of East Liverpool; three stepdaughters, Mrs. James (Norma) Rodgers of Hammondsville, and Mrs. William (Ruth) Dalrymple and Mrs. Elzie (Deloris) Rodgers of East Liverpool; a stepson, George Clarence Adams of New Hampshire; 11 grandchildren and numerous stepgrandchildren and stepgreat- grandchildren.

The Rev. Ted Nusser of East Liverpool is to conduct the services at 1:30 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial is to be in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this afternoon and evening. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the American Diabetic Association.
