Kathryn P. Rich, 68, of 105 Fourth Avenue, Freedom, died today, May 18, 1987, in The Medical Center, Beaver.
Born October 7, 1918 in Freedom, a daughter of the late Ernest and Mary Jane Bailey Koehler, she was a retired licensed practical nurse from the former Rochester General Hospital and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Freedom.
Surviving are her loving husband, Robert H. Rich; two sons, Robert A., Beaver and Michael E., Beaver Falls; three daughters, Mrs. John (Mary Ann) Banyas, Freedom; Mrs. John (Diana) Tatsch, Flatwoods, KY; and Ms. Joan Hogue, Freedom; 15 grandchildren; one brother, Ernest W. Koehler, Center Township and one sister, Mrs. William (Lenore) Stratton, Columbus, Miss.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 in the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, INC. 349 Adams Street, Rochester.
A service will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Freedom with Rev. Kevin Clementson, officiating.
Interment will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery, Freedom.
