Mrs. Harriett Riddle

Mrs. Harriett Brassington Riddle, 77, widow of Isaiah Riddle, died Monday (January 12, 1948) at 6:45 p. m. in her home, 1104 Riverview St., following a long illness.

Mrs. Riddle was born in England. The family came to from Chester more than 40 years ago. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.

She leaves two sons, Frederick Riddle, and Robert E. Riddle, both of East Liverpool; two daughters, Mrs. Ben Jones of East Liverpool, and Mrs. Ed Smith of Wheeling, and nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Riddle died in 1924.

Rites will be held Thursday at 2 p. m. in the late home by Rev. David W. Skeen, pastor of the Orchard Grove Community Methodist Church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call Wednesday night at the late home.
